Bang! Bang! The ground shook,
A German solider returning an icy look.
Fear stuck on everyone’s face,
A hero readies to takes his last pace.

Bang! Bang! Hero is down,
Off he goes hospital bown.
In a bed hero lies,
The doctor says its time for goodbyes.

At home expecting a letter,
His wife and children hope for better.
Beloved hero is gone forever,
They’ll see daddy, never!

A final goodbye is said to the hero they all love,
Set free into the sky a pure white dove.
Lay down on his grave a red rose,
Somewhere a new hero awaiting to be chose.
