The allies fought for us
It started with a little fuss
Most of them were in a trench
And also would of got drenched
The rats would get on soldiers wicks
They’d sometimes need to beat Germans with sticks

The conditions were atrocious
But they were also quite ferocious
They all got secret names
And tanks created many flames
Back then you would have to be tough
Because the Germans would be rough

Many things could go wrong
But on the other hand if you were strong
There wouldn’t be so many problems
With a grenade you would have to lob them
Machine guns would be firing
World War 1 really was tiring
