Remembrance.
When the world was caught up, in hatred and spite,
Our soldiers gave up, all their might,
Resisting enemy fire, and putting up a fight,
Land was turned to trenches, for battle overnight,
Dear was the cost of putting everything right.
War ruins everything- families and lives,
And now we must remember it, to stop it happening twice,
Remember the war, and mourn for the loss
Of the 16 million dead, and
Never forget of the
Extreme sacrifice, those soldiers had to make.
