The Peace that Led the War
The terrors of the war are clear today,
the facts and fiction are on display,
The horses and the men are now at rest,
The terrors and screams have been suppressed.
Their hearts and their souls are among the light,
but they will still fight with courageous might
The countries have now learned, and unite.
The world will only grow when together,
and we shall grow in peace all together.
But if tragedy should strike again,
I will only see it as humane,
and why would we relive the awful pain?
In World War One, families were broken
so let the peace we set be unbroken.
