Dulce et deconcm est pro patria more

Dulce et deconcm est pro patria more, was the one saying they told us to keep our morale high, but I thought that was a lie.
They said it would be easy, I looked to my right to find my friend huffing, we laughed
The next day we were on our horses ready for the Germans, we’d crept threw the longs grass fields and walking in the deep, thick mud, but we were still told that one saying ‘dulce et deconcm est pro patria more’ .
Knock kneed, I looked up to the dark clouds, then I heard the scariest and most daring scream in my life charge!
We hopped on our horses, brought our swords out, we passed threw the long grass, our enemy was in sight, but we murdered ourself.
Germans started firing their machine guns, I saw around me men falling to the ground, horses we screaming , I fell of my horse, wondered, I tipped over on my side to find my friend not huffing, not laughing, but dead.
