A Lonely Town
A lonely town,
As I fly,
Through the clouds,
In the blue sky.
A town that once was,
A happy place,
Now desolate.
Empty, without one face.
A dilapidated school.
Craters in the road.
A crumbling house,
That was once an abode.
Then I look at one home,
Burnt to the ground.
I look at its door,
And I realize I’ve found,
My old home, my old life.
