Daughter’s Hero

He’s only trying to be a father,
Be a loving and caring son,
Be a lover to his wife,
Do anything for anyone.
He doesn’t want to die
But for his country he will fight,
No matter what he will never turn away.
He doesn’t want to be a coward,
Now in his death-bed he will lay.

A distraught and torn-apart daughter,
saying Daddy you were right,Father, well he was a hero,
Always taking care of his country,
He didn’t plan on dying,
He will always have a place in his daughter’s little heart.

A hero he will always stay,
He never turned a cheek,
He fought and to this day, he is his daughter’s hero.
