I am proud of you.
for taking on the war,
but unable to see it through.

You knew the circumstances,
but you went out all so brave.
You went out there for us dad,
for the freedom we all crave.

You put on a good show, dad,
You did your country proud.

in front of this big crowd.

You are an amazing man,
for everything you’ve done.
You went out there hoping,
that our country won.

You didn’t have to do that dad,
but you did it anyway,
