BANG!
Shells explode,
Sending shockwaves through the bloody ground
Time slows
I remember the wonderful times with my family
Playing with my children all day long
But not anymore.
Soldiers motionlessly still
Commanders bellowing vigorously
Gunshots in every direction
My head filled with unending dread.
Screams echo through the battle field
Flood of blood engulfs the vast landscape
Fellow companions never to be found
My heart covered with melancholy

Eratic fog surrounds me
Eerie shadows ambling through the fog
I try to find my way through but it immersed me in even more
More shooting and bombs detonating booms on the field
Silence.
The atmosphere goes tranquil
Nothing stirred
The wind howled violently
The white flag frantically waving at the enemy side
Surrender.
