It’s time to remember, the bravery that was shown
Across the fields and by their wives and families at home

As the sky turned bleak and the air turned bitter
It was our countries chance, to stand our ground, and not become quitters

We were the ones who stood together
To get what we wanted to last forever

And for that we need to recollect, as November grows near
The millions that lost their lives to defend us from fear
