Send us Home!
Rich red blood surrounding us,
Brave young soldiers running towards their death,
Pleading for freedom from this terrifying prison,
All we want is to go home,
But we are trapped in this horrible nightmare.
The sounds of bombs in my ear,
Watching soldiers scream with terror,
Deafening guns all around me,
Please send us home,
Get us out of this horrible nightmare.
Grey clouds fill the sky,
I don’t want to see others hurt,
I want to see smiles on every face,
As they hug their families tight,
I beg you to let us go home,
Away from this horrible nightmare.
In all of this terror I see a bit of hope,
But when that hope will turn to happiness,
I don’t know!
