As I stand in the
dark hearing the screams
and cries of people
dying BANG! BANG! went
the guns and bombs.

As I lay on the ground waiting, to take
my shot. When hundreds
of rats came round
the corner I knew
someone was coming
then I got my gun
ready, it was one
of my soldiers.
