Wishing for another chance

Who would think it was so lonly when your with many
The men who gave up the lives for thousands or any
They sit there in terror morning, night or afternoon
Just staring up at the moon
Whishing they could go home

They dream of their families tea
When everyone was loving me
They were never lonly never forgotton
Now they sleep in the treanches, rotton
Whishing they had never signed up

Then you see no mans land with blood scatterd everywhere
Left there with no care
Thanking god that isn’t you
Don’t believe that you will die to
Woundering who would ever want to join the army

After that you see the poppy fields full of red
Remembering the people who are dead
